Let Wise Fathers Arise.

The world is at crossroads in many spheres of human existence. Without prejudice to race or continent, proof of lawlessness abounds in print and electronic media, the Internet and especially on the streets. These are clear consequences of degenerating moral, social and cultural values. The family unit, which used to be a safe haven - a cocoon to inculcate Godly values in children - is experiencing high incidence of failure. Where are the fathers, the ‘good’ men Ps.37:23 to coach and mentor next generations?
This situation can be reversed. Divine illumination in the word of God has the solution to every life challenge and guides to successful living. Godly values make nations great.
The Good Fther is a journey into fundamental Biblical truth, expounding God’s word, His prescription for FATHERING. The book discusses practical ways to emulate Godly attributes for fathering success. Purposed to ‘turn the hearts of the fathers to the children’ Mal.4:6a, it sets the tone for new beginnings, lays the foundation of Jesus Christ, the Word of God, for fathers to improve upon their relationship with the heavenly Father and impact positively on their lives, families, communities and nations. It also has evangelical purpose, so that the unsaved may know the provisions made by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The Foreword to this 2-volume, 6-part book by Mopileola Amusu is written by Rev. Dr. Adeyinka Akinbami, Pastor-in-charge of the Family Life Directorate, House on the Rock. Prayers for fathers are by Pastor Seyi Ola-Daniels of Keyword Christian Centre. Some questions that form this book’s discourse:
v  Who is a Father, and what is his role in the life of the child?
v  How may a father help his children discover their true identity?
v  Who is the enemy a father must defend his children against, and how?
v  How can a father provide for his children?
v  What are the steps to recover the glorious destinies of our children?
The Book also contains a Self-Cognitive Assessment for fathers to evaluate features of their well-being which may impact on their fathering assignment
