The Man Who Will Be King. Part 3.
A
friend asked me recently: What can be done about the incidence of rogue
behaviour worldwide? My answer was simple: read the book ‘The Good Father’! There
is no solution to degenerating moral, social and cultural values outside of a
return to the prescriptions of the One who created the family unit as a cocoon
to inculcate Godly values in children and pass on relationship with Him to next
generations. It is my belief that the fundamental reason our societies are experiencing
a high incidence of failure is the lack of strong, focused, visionary
leadership, resulting from man’s insistence on dissociating from God.
Dearth of
leadership begins in the family, the place of foundational development of an
individual, where he learns that without relationship
with God he cannot impact positively on his life, community or nation. Every
life on earth is purpose-driven, every creature has a mission on earth: to fulfil
the purpose of He who put eternity in his heart, as well as all he needs to
achieve that purpose. A man in pursuit of purpose rarely desires what God has not
already ordained for him; he need not steal, kill or put himself or another at
risk. Everything he does must advance him toward the achievement of God's plan
else it is done in vain. Enter the need for fathers, God’s appointed heads of
families, to seek Him.
Who
we were created to be is the highest version of ourselves, not who we may have
become. Until we discover it, a fulfilled, successful life may evade us. The
father-king is positioned as head to hear God's thoughts and plans for every
member of his family. Apostle Peter called us 'sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our
fathers…' Acts.3:25. This means everything
concerning us has already been foretold, and is found by a diligent search into
the books of the prophets in Scripture. Secondly, every one born of the Spirit
is adopted into the family of God and entitled to an inheritance, according to
the terms of our covenant with God, for which Jesus shed His Blood Eph.1:3-14.
No spiritual re-birth, no inheritance. Should not the father ask for the
prophetic anointing, receive specific words from the throne-room of God for the
edification of each child, and speak it to be? By this, he surrenders himself
to be used to guide the child on the path that leads to the table where all
things are ready Lk.14:16-17.
This is the root cause of rogue behaviour worldwide: many lack guidance and direction;
no one has sought divine intelligence from the mind of God to help them
discover their true identity; they know not of the ‘inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away
reserved in heaven’ 1Pet.1:3-5
for mature sons of the heavenly Father who accept His Son as Lord and Saviour,
to draw by faith. Does not the Blessing supply every need to reign on earth Rev.5:9-12?
Prayer:
Almighty God, You are the Revealer of
all secrets Deut.29:29.
As I seek You in Your Word, by Your Spirit, reveal to me Your good plans for me
and every member of my family. Give me the right words to speak over each one Job.6:25,
to call them to be who You ordained from ‘before
the foundation of the world’, so that as divine purpose is being
accomplished in their lives, each will enter into his own inheritance, be a
blessing to all the families of the earth, and witness to Your goodness, in Jesus’ Precious Name I pray.
Declaration:
In
the name of Jesus, and by the super-abounding grace of God, I decree and
declare:
My eyes are blessed
to see the Just One, my ears to hear His voice, and my heart understands His will
for every member of my family Acts.22:14-15. Like Jesus, all that is written concerning each
one of us shall be accomplished Lk.22:37. Thank You, Jesus.
